Brand Knowledge
Connected current company context that can inform workflows, with review still required.
Sarah had already encountered Brand Knowledge while filling in her Company Profile. After reviewing diagnostic evidence, she returned to it because she wanted to make sure the company context available to her workflows was current.
Connected current context
Brand Knowledge brings together current company context that can be available to relevant workflows, including Company Profile details, Direction material, and diagnostic evidence. It is context to inspect, not an automatic source of truth.
Did you know
Context supports, but does not replace, review
Relevant workflows can use Brand Knowledge as context. Check consequential suggestions and work against the applicable published Direction release and current source material before relying on them.
Keep context current
A brand-new workspace with an empty Company Profile and no reviewed Direction has limited Brand Knowledge, so Vale has less company-specific context to use. Add current audience and positioning information, then review important outputs against the source material.
What actually feeds it
Common mistake
Treat context as context, not a verdict
Adding information does not establish that it is complete, current, or agreed. Revisit it when the business changes, and review important work against the published Direction release.
Founder tip
Review the source material
When context is missing or stale, update the relevant Company Profile or strategic material. Do not use a completeness indicator as a quality claim or as a substitute for review.
Where the payoff shows up
Sarah used current Brand Knowledge to give her workflows useful context. She still reviewed Vale’s suggestions, Briefs, and applied work against the source material before sharing or publishing anything important.
With current context available, Sarah was ready for Strategy Builder, where she could develop Direction for review and deliberate publication.
